The Executive Chairman of the Zamfara State Hajj Commission, Alhaji Musa Mallaha, has announced the schedule for the return of Zamfara pilgrims from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following the successful completion of the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued by the Commission’s spokesman, Comrade Abubakar Aliyu, and made available to journalists in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.
According to Mallaha, the airlift of pilgrims back to Nigeria will commence on June 20, 2026.
He disclosed that the first batch of pilgrims will depart Saudi Arabia on June 20, while the second flight is scheduled for June 22. The third and fourth flights are expected to depart on June 24, 2026.
The chairman advised all pilgrims to remain prepared and cooperate fully with officials to ensure a smooth and hitch-free return journey.

Mallaha commended the pilgrims for their patience, discipline, and cooperation throughout the Hajj exercise and wished them safe travels back home.
The Zamfara State Hajj Commission also expressed appreciation to all stakeholders who contributed to the successful conduct of the pilgrimage.
