The Ekiti State governorship election recorded early arrivals of voting materials and ad hoc officials at polling units in most parts of Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, on Saturday.

At Ward 11, Unit 9 in Ado-Ekiti, electoral materials and officials were already on the ground before the scheduled commencement time, as growing crowds of voters waited patiently for the commencement of the exercise.

It was the same situation at Ward 4, Ado Ijigbo; Unit 003; and Unit 04 at the Imugbagba market, where similar early deployment was observed.

As of press time, electorate were seen checking there names on the pasted voters’ lists at the units in anticipation for accreditation and voting.
