Students of the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, have reportedly locked the institution’s Vice-Chancellor out of the university’s main gate during a protest over worsening insecurity and repeated robbery attacks affecting students.
The protesting students accused the university management of failing to adequately address persistent security challenges, calling for urgent measures to safeguard lives and property.
Further details are expected as the situation develops.
