In recognition of her outstanding feats, members of the Nigeria Youth Advocacy for Good Governance Initiative (NYAGGI) recently honoured the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Teleport Mega Zone Travel Limited, Chief Mercedes Uloaku Iweka for her outstanding service to youth development and nation building.

National Coordinator NYAGGI, Alabi Akeem Abiodun said the honour followed a comprehensive assessment of  Iweka’s remarkable achievements, impactful leadership, and unwavering commitment to empowering young people and advancing national development.

As the CEO of Teleport Mega Zone Travel Limited, Iweka has distinguished herself through visionary leadership in the nation’s travel and tourism industry.

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, she has continued to champion humanitarian initiatives, youth mentorship, and community development.

She also plays in the pharmaceutical sector, further reflecting the breadth of her professional experience and commitment to improving lives across multiple industries.

Describing Iweka as a mentor, philanthropist, bridge-builder, and advocate for positive social change, the organisation added that her passion for peace, unity, education, and youth development has earned her admiration within and beyond the business community.

This latest recognition adds to her growing list of honours. She was previously presented with the Nigerian Most Notable Female Advocate Award by the Peace Ambassadors Advocacy Network in recognition of her outstanding advocacy, humanitarian service, and commitment to promoting peace, justice, and social development.

In its citation, NYAGGI described Ambassador Iweka as an “epitome of humanitarian service,” applauding her integrity, compassion, visionary leadership, and enduring commitment to nation-building through the empowerment of young people.

The organisation congratulated the recipient and prayed for God’s continued blessings, wisdom, strength, and good health as she continues her service to humanity and the nation.
