A Nigerian-based cleric in South Africa and founder of Rock of Victory Ministries International, Johannesburg, South Africa, Reverend Francis Anosike, has appealed to the General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Pastor Lazarus Muoka to pray for God’s intervention in the ongoing crisis in South Africa.

Anosike, who has a flourishing ministry in South Africa made the appeal during an interview with journalists at the just-concluded biennial programme, titled: “…And The Enemies Submitted,” organised by The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries at its headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos. He said the situation in South Africa needed prayers and God’s intervention, hence he called on his spiritual father, and mentor, Pastor Lazarus Muoka to pray for them regarding the crisis in South Africa, where some Nigerians have been killed.

Anosike, whose ministry in South Africa spanned over two decades, exonerated the government of South Africa from what is happening but hinged the blame on political parties.

“I don’t know what the Nigerian government wants to do about the situation. To me, we need to pray for that beautiful nation so that God will arrest every situation and that is why I’m calling on Daddy Lazarus Muoka to pray for us. The crisis that is going on in South Africa is not caused by the government; the government is not in support of the violence you see on the streets,” Anosike said.

He emphasised that South African government is absolutely doing its best to protect everybody including foreigners.

Anosike said: “In every country you see bad elements trying to oppose the law of the land. So besides that South African government is doing its best to ensure that everybody is safe and protected.”

On how he adopted Pastor Lazarus Muoka as his spiritual father and mentor, the Senior Pastor who is a regular face at all Chosen events, described his mentor as an amazing man of God and a true servant of the Most High God. He recalled that his encounter with Pastor Muoka started about 18 years ago, through divine intervention.

Speaking glowingly about the man of God whom he said God revealed to him, while he was praying for direction, Anosike said: “He is an amazing man of God. Daddy Lazarus Muoka is a man that I like, in fact, I can’t describe him with a human word. Daddy Lazarus Muoka is a true servant of the Most High God. I have been in the ministry for over 30 years, preaching the gospel all over the world. I have seen men of God but Daddy Lazarus Muoka is a different man of God.

Other track records that really endeared him to his mentor, according to Anosike include Muoka’s integrity and his fear for God.

Anosike said: “He is a man of integrity. I am not moved by what people say, ‘we can do miracles, we can pull crowds; we are billionaire preachers or we have millions of followers all over the world.’ They don’t move me. One of the things that moves me is to ensure that the person that I’m dealing with has integrity or he is a man of integrity.

“Even though you can raise the dead from the grave, if you are not a man of integrity forget it. I cannot associate with you so Daddy Lazarus Muoka is a God-fearing man, a man that practices what he preaches.

Most men of God are not doing what they are preaching but this man is a true servant of God. You can rely and depend on him. What he said in the secret he repeats same in the open and what he said in the open is exactly what he would say in the secret.”

Anosike concluded by saying: “I encountered this great man of God about 18 years and it was by divine direction. God showed him to me as I was praying. I served under a ministry for few years and when I left the ministry I was asking God for divine direction and who would be my spiritual father and the Lord led me to Daddy Lazarus Muoka.”
