10 Nigerian startups take homegrown technologies to global stage

APAC SUMMIT

Ten Nigerian startups are set to showcase homegrown innovations at the APAC Summit 2026 in Singapore on October 30, as they seek international partnerships, investment opportunities and access to the Asia-Pacific market.
Selected under the NIMENA programme, the startups will present technology-driven solutions across financial technology, agriculture, healthcare, logistics, education, security and digital media to international businesses, investors and innovation partners.
The initiative, announced by Plug and Play APAC, aims to connect the Nigerian entrepreneurs with the wider Asia-Pacific innovation ecosystem and explore opportunities for cross-border collaboration and business expansion.

The participating companies are Dojah, led by Oluwatobiloba Ololade; Sorair Technologies, led by Kunmi Oludoyi; Happaning, founded by Andrew ‘Ando’ Eniwumide; HealthStack, led by Dr Simpa Dania; i-Purvey, co-founded by Abdul Isiaq; Shipbubble, co-founded by Ayodeji Abon; Crop2Cash, co-founded by Seyi Alabi; Youverify, represented by Hakeem Akiode; TradeBuza, co-founded by Nonso Eze; and BeGenio Tech, founded by Dr Grace Togun Olugbodi.
The startups have developed solutions addressing practical challenges in different sectors, reflecting the growing application of technology to business operations, financial inclusion, agriculture, healthcare and education.
Dojah and Youverify provide identity verification and compliance technology to help businesses authenticate users and meet regulatory requirements.

Crop2Cash focuses on improving smallholder farmers’ access to finance by helping them establish financial identities that can support their applications for credit, while TradeBuza connects African agricultural producers with international markets.
In logistics and security, i-Purvey develops technology for anticipating disruptions in aviation and maritime operations, Shipbubble simplifies delivery services for online merchants, and Sorair Technologies deploys automated drone and camera systems to monitor industrial facilities.
HealthStack focuses on digital health systems, while BeGenio Tech uses game-based learning to improve children’s mathematics skills.
Happaning, meanwhile, develops technology that allows viewers to choose camera angles during live events, offering audiences greater control over their viewing experiences.
Their participation at the Singapore summit is expected to provide opportunities to demonstrate the commercial potential of their solutions, engage prospective investors and establish relationships with technology companies and business partners in Asia-Pacific.
Beyond international exposure, access to new markets could help the startups diversify their revenue streams, attract investment and develop products tailored to customers outside Africa.

However, successful expansion will depend on their ability to secure reliable local partners, comply with regional regulatory requirements and demonstrate that their products can compete effectively in Southeast Asian markets.
The summit will therefore provide a platform for the founders to explore potential entry points into the region and assess opportunities for commercial collaboration.
The APAC Summit 2026 is scheduled to take place in Singapore on October 30.
