The Association of Esan Professionals (AEP) has finalised plans for the launch of its N500 million endowment fund to raise the bar of development in the area.
The event, themed ‘Securing Esanland and Empowering its People’, is scheduled for July 18 and will be held virtually as a continuation of past developmental strides that have seen the AEP getting involved in project development and the award of scholarships to indigent students of Esan extraction.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the AEP Fund-raising Committee, Emmanuel Ogbebor; Vice President, Obehi Okosun, and Programme Director, Philip Uguomore, the Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, is expected to be the special guest of honour. At the same time, the Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Dr Robson Ewalefoh, will chair the occasion.
Chairman/Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), Lee Engineering & Construction Company, Lagos, Dr Leemon Ikpea, will serve as the father of the day.
Ogbebor said the event offered Esan professionals an opportunity to put themselves forward to be counted.
