MFM Celebrates 16-Year-Old Danielle, Nigeria’s Youngest Chartered Accountant

The General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has celebrated Miss Danielle Osasere Okundaye, a member of the church, for emerging as Nigeria’s youngest chartered accountant.

Okundaye, a member of the MFM Teenage Church and the We Care Ministry, Women on Fire, Ogudu, Lagos State, was honoured during the church’s annual Water of Fire programme and the monthly Power Must Change Hands service.

Sharing her testimony, the 16-year-old attributed her achievement to God’s grace, hard work and the spiritual guidance she received through the ministry.

She said MFM played a significant role in shaping her success by instilling biblical principles of putting God first in every situation while embracing diligence and excellence, drawing inspiration from the life of the biblical Daniel.

Dr. Olukoya described her achievement as a testament to discipline, resilience, diligence and God’s faithfulness, saying it demonstrates the limitless potential of Nigerian youths when they remain focused and committed to their goals.

Okundaye recently made national headlines after qualifying as a chartered accountant through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) at the age of 16, a feat that has earned widespread admiration across the country.

Congratulating the young accountant, Dr. Olukoya urged Nigerian youths to put God first, think creatively, work hard and refuse to allow age, background or circumstances to limit their aspirations.

He encouraged them to embrace education as a pathway to personal growth and national development, stressing that excellence is achieved through consistency, integrity and determination.

The MFM General Overseer also commended Okundaye’s parents for providing the support, guidance and values that enabled her to attain such an outstanding academic and professional milestone at a young age.

According to him, parents play a critical role in identifying, nurturing and developing their children’s talents while instilling strong moral and spiritual values.

The celebration attracted members of the church, who applauded the young achiever for bringing honour to her family, the ministry and the nation. Many described her accomplishment as proof that Nigerian youths possess immense potential to compete globally when given the right support and opportunities.

Expressing her appreciation, Okundaye thanked God, her parents, mentors and the leadership of MFM for their prayers, encouragement and unwavering support throughout her academic and professional journey.

Her achievement, she said, demonstrates that extraordinary success is possible regardless of age when faith, discipline, education and hard work come together.

Speaking during the celebration, Dr. Olukoya said:

“Today, we celebrate with one of our own, Danielle Osasere Okundaye, as she shares the inspiring testimony of becoming Nigeria’s youngest chartered accountant at just 16 years old.

“This extraordinary achievement stands as a powerful testament to God’s faithfulness and what can be accomplished through diligence, discipline, resilience and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

“Her journey is an inspiration to young people everywhere, proving that with God’s grace, determination and a clear vision, age is never a barrier to greatness.

“We pray that this remarkable milestone will be the beginning of even greater accomplishments and that God will continue to lead you from glory to glory.”
