Women from diverse backgrounds converged in Lagos for the third edition of the “Arabinrin Women Conference,” where speakers called for deliberate choices, balanced living and community-driven support as pathways to personal fulfillment for every woman.

The conference held under the theme: “The Fulfilled Woman” had in attendance professionals, entrepreneurs, mothers, who had access to conversations on personal development, leadership, career, motherhood, relationships among others.

Speaking in a press interview, the Convener of the conference, Olufunmi Ogunniran, said this year’s edition was designed to move women from aspiration, to action, to fulfillment.
She noted that this year’s theme is aimed at ensuring that every woman in the room fulfills her purpose in life, business, career, or family

Olufunmi further disclosed that Arabinrin is a women-focused platform committed to leadership development, capacity building, community engineering, and economic empowerment for women in Nigeria.

She said, “Arabinrin Conference 2026 is an opportunity for women to embrace new beginnings, and rebuild the foundations of their lives. Transformation only comes through the practical application of knowledge.”
As part of the opening session, participants at the conference were asked to identify priority areas in their lives, set measurable goals, and take a pledge of commitment before joining in the Arabinrin anthem.
Delivering her speech, Ifeyinwa Okafor, Co-founder of Digital Parenting School and author of “Parenting with the Father” urged women to pursue fulfillment through intentional living, rather than attempting to excel in every area simultaneously.
Ifeyinwa stated that true fulfillment requires balance across spiritual growth, marriage, health, self-image, work, friendships, wealth, family and environment.
She urged participants to envision themselves at age 70 and allow that long-term perspective to guide present decisions.
“Excellence is not about doing everything,” Ifeyinwa said. “It is about doing the right things, at the right time, with the right values.”
In another session, Ella George, Chief Executive Officer of HillBridge Consulting, charged participants to take ownership of their growth. She encouraged women to temper expectations of others while raising standards of personal execution.
“Meaningful change begins with the individuals”. “Fulfillment is found in consistently adding value to people and leaving them better than you met them.”
In line with its mandate to support women beyond the conference, the convener presented grants and financial support to selected women with early-stage businesses to aid entrepreneurial growth.
Now in its third year, the Arabinrin Women Conference seeks to equip women with knowledge, insightful and practical resources to build stronger families, sound health, sustainable careers, thriving businesses and lasting community impact.

Some of the special guests at the event included Mrs Uba, Chief Yinka Kenny, Sola Adesakin, Hannah Joshua-Felix and Pastor Busola Afolayan.
The organisers said plans are underway for mentorship circles, and follow-up workshops to sustain the outcomes of the 2026 edition.
