Eyewitnesses informed newsmen that suspected political thugs stormed the Ward 4, Unit 13, Oke-Odo in Ejigbo, Ejigbo Local Government Area of the state, shot severally to the air and mar the voting process.
The attack was said to have was to have been led by one ‘BIG HAMMER’ few minutes after the ADC candidate cast his ballot.
Though the details were still sketchy election materials were alleged to have been carted away ballot papers and other sensitive materials.
Video clip sighted by The Guardian showed electoral officials, security personnel and potential voters scampering for safety after gunshots rented the air.
A yet to be confirmed report noted that one of the invaders was later apprehended by some courageous residents at the scene.
