The Ebonyi South Youths Assembly on Monday felicitates with the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Engagement, Southeast Region, Barrister Chioma Nweze, on her birthday described her sustained commitment to youth empowerment, human capital development, community engagement and infrastructural advancement across the region as crucial.

In a congratulatory message on behalf of the Group which Guardian obtained a copy in Abakaliki, the National President of the association, Comrade Odii Njoku, described her as a strategic voice in the Federal Government’s efforts to deepen grassroots development and foster inclusive growth in the Southeast adding that she has shown capacity in discharging her duties.

Njoku said Nweze’s interventions and engagements had continued to demonstrate the importance of building stronger institutional linkages between government and communities, particularly in a region with substantial youthful and entrepreneurial potential.

He said, “On behalf of the entire membership of the Ebonyi South Youths Assembly, I warmly congratulate Barrister Chioma Nweze on the occasion of her birthday.

“We celebrate not merely the anniversary of her birth, but the remarkable commitment, energy and sense of responsibility she continues to bring to the service of the Southeast and the nation.

“Her passion for youth empowerment, human capital development, community engagement and infrastructural development reflects an understanding that sustainable transformation must be people-centred, inclusive and rooted in the aspirations of the communities.”

The youth leader further lauded Nweze for contributing to efforts aimed at creating platforms through which young people could access opportunities, acquire relevant skills and participate more meaningfully in the development process.

According to him, empowering the youth remains critical to unlocking the productive capacity of the Southeast, noting that the region’s demographic strength, entrepreneurial culture and abundant human resources could be converted into sustainable economic growth through deliberate investment in people.

Njoku also commended the presidential aide for amplifying community voices and promoting closer engagement between government and the grassroots, describing such an approach as essential to ensuring that development initiatives reflect the actual needs and aspirations of the people.

He added that infrastructure development, when complemented by investments in human capital and youth-focused programmes, would provide the foundation for stronger local economies, employment generation and improved standards of living across the Southeast.

“Barrister Chioma Nweze represents a generation of public-spirited leaders whose responsibilities extend beyond occupying an office. Her assignment places her at a critical intersection between government policy and the aspirations of the people, and we are encouraged by the commitment she has demonstrated in that regard,” Njoku stated.

He urged the presidential aide to remain steadfast in advancing programmes and policies that would strengthen youth participation, expand opportunities for young people and promote equitable development across the five states of the Southeast.

The Ebonyi South youths also prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, good health and renewed strength for Nweze as she assumes another year of life and service.

Njoku said the association remained optimistic that Nweze would record greater accomplishments in the years ahead, while expressing confidence that her experience and institutional platform would continue to contribute positively to the development of the Southeast.

“Your new age should mark the beginning of even greater accomplishments and wider impact. We wish you wisdom, sound health, renewed strength and the grace to continue touching lives and contributing meaningfully to the progress of our people and Nigeria.
