Nigerian singer Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, popularly known as Mayorkun, alongside rappers Reminisce and Terry Apala, entertained music lovers at the Mainland Block Party held at the Eagles Club, Surulere, Lagos, on Saturday.
Mayorkun, who headlined the concert on August 22, delivered a selection of his popular songs as fans sang along and danced to the music.
The singer was joined on stage by former label colleague Dremo, with the pair performing together and taking the audience through some of their familiar hits.
Reminisce also brought his rap style to the event, performing some of his well-known songs, while Terry Apala added his distinctive blend of Afropop and Apala-inspired sound to the night.
The performances kept the audience engaged as the artistes took turns entertaining the crowd, with hype man Mr Barry also contributing to the atmosphere.
The event, organised by Mainland Block Party, featured music, entertainment and activities from participating brands, including Pepsi, Jameson and Guinness.
Guinness also held a raffle draw during the event, giving attendees an opportunity to win prizes.
The August 22 gathering brought together music lovers from across Lagos Mainland for an evening of live performances, with Mayorkun, Reminisce and Terry Apala serving as the major musical acts.
The event ended with the artistes and entertainers leaving the audience with a night of live music and performances.
