For Nigerians who have long dreamed of owning land but have been held back by the rising cost of property, Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd. has introduced a fresh opportunity with discounts of up to 10 per cent and flexible payment plans.

The company unveiled its Real Estate Ownership Made Easy (ROME) initiative on Friday at the International Conference Centre, Enugu, before more than 1,200 investors, realtors and other stakeholders in the real estate sector.
The initiative, which runs until September 30, 2026, allows prospective buyers to acquire plots at the company’s Glory Layout in Enugu, currently valued at N1.5 million, with the option of spreading payment over one year.

Under the offer, customers who make full payment will receive a 10 per cent discount, while those who choose the instalment option will enjoy a five per cent discount.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Powell Homes and Shelters Ltd., Architect Chibuikem Onyekachi Emmanuel, said the initiative was designed to make property ownership less burdensome and create opportunities for more Nigerians to invest in real estate.

“The aim is simple: to produce numerous land and property owners. We want people to own properties without stress and get the value of their investment,” Emmanuel said.
He clarified that the promotional discounts were separate from the regular incentives payable to agents, realtors and staff who facilitate property sales.

The company’s Brand Ambassador and Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwo, popularly known as Mama G, described the initiative as timely, commending Powell Homes for what she called its commitment to integrity and transparency.
She urged prospective investors to take advantage of the limited-time offer, stressing that trust remained critical in the real estate business.

“Powell Homes and Shelters has continued to give me reasons to believe in what the company stands for,” she said.
Also speaking, the company’s Manager, Steve Ibaro, said the ROME initiative covers the company’s properties, depending on the package selected by customers.

He explained that buyers who opt for instalment payments would have up to one year to complete their obligations.
Representing the company’s realtors and partners, the Managing Director of Chris Alex Homes and Properties Ltd., Eze Christian, described Powell Homes as a dependable brand with a track record of genuine property transactions.
Christian said his company had partnered with Powell Homes for more than five years, commending its management for initiatives designed to support clients, realtors and other stakeholders.

He urged prospective buyers to take advantage of the ROME initiative before the offer expires on September 30.
