The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Moytel Consultants Limited, Nnamdi Igwiloh, has described the company’s attainment of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications as a major milestone in its commitment to quality and professional standards.

Igwiloh said the certifications were more than accolades, describing them as formal recognition of standards that had been embedded in the company’s operations since its establishment.

Speaking with journalists in Lagos yesterday, he said the certifications had also placed greater responsibility on the company to sustain and continuously improve the standards that earned it international recognition.

According to him, the achievement reflects the company’s longstanding commitment to excellence and professionalism.

“For us, it just goes to further incentivise our clients that not only do we talk the talk, but we walk the walk,” he said.

He added that the company’s commitment to quality predated the certifications.

“Our attention to quality and excellence isn’t just because we have gotten certification. It started from the inception of this company. It’s what we do daily. Everybody in this organisation knows what we stand for,” he said.

Igwiloh said Moytel had also established a dedicated quality department to ensure continued compliance with the standards across its operations.

The department, he explained, would monitor activities carried out by employees in the field, implementation teams and project managers, ensuring that every stage of a project complied with the company’s objectives, regulatory requirements and global best practices.

The Head of Business Operations, Moytel Consultants, Samuel Udo, said the decision to pursue the certifications was driven by the need to institutionalise quality across the company and align its processes with international standards.

Udo said Moytel, which has operated for more than 14 years, had grown from a modest beginning into a company operating in a highly regulated engineering and telecommunications environment.

He said the industry’s regulatory requirements made quality assurance particularly important, as activities across the value chain were subject to consistent scrutiny.

He described the certification process as a deliberate strategic decision rather than an accidental development.
