ReachOut Nigeria targets 100m devotional copies

Rhapsody of Realities

ReachOut Nigeria, an annual campaign associated with Loveworld Nation, says it will distribute 100 million copies of Rhapsody of Realities across Nigeria as it marks its 20th edition.

The campaign, themed “Celebrating 20 Years of Impact, Taking Rhapsody to Every Man’s World”, is scheduled to cover all 774 local government areas during October.

According to a statement from Loveworld Nation’s Directorate of Media Communications, the distribution will target adults, youths, teenagers, children and people with accessibility needs in cities, towns, villages and rural communities.

The campaign will distribute the devotional in indigenous Nigerian languages and through print, digital, audio and Braille formats. The organisers said the initiative is targeting 1,009 Nigerian languages, with 650 already represented in print.

A ReachOut Nigeria Symposium is scheduled for October 30 to examine the campaign’s two-decade history, community projects and innovations.

The campaign coincides with Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary celebrations.

Rhapsody of Realities, authored by Chris Oyakhilome, is described by Loveworld Nation as being available in 8,123 languages and more than 4,000 dialects. The organisation says it is distributed in print, digital, audio, Braille and sign-language formats.
