THE Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) will on Thursday, November 5, 2026, hold its Education Summit, themed: “Revisiting Kingdom Education: The Role Of Stakeholders,” at the Church’s International Headquarters, Redemption City, Mowe, Kilometre 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Disclosing this in a statement, the convener of the event, wife of the General Overseer and Mother-in-Israel, Pastor (Mrs) FoluAdeboye urged the participants to explore the theme and areas of focus, which, according to her, include distinguishing secular humanism from a Biblical worldview and developing practical strategies in Biblical worldview and Apologetics, Transformational Teaching and Leadership, sustainable Funding for Christian Education, and Stakeholder Collaboration and Implementation.
The organisers said the programme would focus on the intellectual, spiritual and moral well-being of the child for a more positive impact on the society, adding that it is a case of passing through the school and letting the school pass through the child.
The statement added that the Summit would bring together seasoned educators, educational administrators, senior pastors and other professionals to examine the role of stakeholders in the formal educational arm of the church.
It noted that the Kingdom Education had become imperative because of the myriad of challenges faced by today’s school children.
“Most children struggle to process the multitude of information they are exposed to and thus unable to discern between good and evil. Kingdom education affords them a better understanding of whom they are, where they are coming from and their ultimate destination,” Adeboye said.
The RCCG has about 350 primary and nursery schools in Nigeria and abroad, managed by the mission’s formal educational agency, Christ the Redeemer’s School Management (CRSM).
