The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has concluded plans to hold its education summit with the theme: “Revisiting Kingdom Education: The Role of Stakeholders,” on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at the church’s international headquarters in Redemption City, Mowe, Kilometre 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

This was disclosed by the convener of the event, wife of the General Overseer and Mother-in-Israel, Pastor (Mrs) Folu Adeboye.

She urged the participants to explore the theme and areas of focus, which include distinguishing secular humanism from a Biblical worldview and developing practical strategies in Biblical worldview and Apologetics, Transformational Teaching and Leadership, sustainable Funding for Christian Education, and Stakeholder Collaboration and Implementation.

According to the organisers, the Kingdom Education would focus on the intellectual, spiritual, and moral well-being of the child for a more positive impact on the society. It is a case of passing through the school and letting the school pass through the child.

A statement from the mission’s international headquarters, said the Summit would bring together seasoned educators, educational administrators, senior pastors and other professionals who will be examining the role of stakeholders in the formal educational arm of the church.

According to Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, Kingdom Education had become imperative because of the myriad of challenges faced by today’s school children.

“Most children struggle to process the multitude of information they are exposed to and thus unable to discern between good and evil. Kingdom education affords them a better understanding of whom they are, where they are coming from and their ultimate destination,” she said.

Recall that the Redeemed Christian Church of God owned about 350 primary and nursery schools in Nigeria and abroad, operated by the mission’s formal educational agency, Christ the Redeemer’s School Management (CRSM).
