Solar Power Offers Up To 90% Savings On Fuel, Grid Electricity Costs – Akejelu

Solar Power

THE National Sales Director of Dyque Energy, Samson Akejelu, has said that an investment in solar energy has the potential to save individuals and businesses about 80 to 90 per cent of the cost often spent on fuel and national grid consumption.

He stated this at the Nigeria Energy 2026 forum where Dyque Energy had an exhibition booth where it showcased to participants how solar can change the dynamics around energy spending for homes and businesses.
According to him, with a solar system installed, it technically makes the system the primary source of energy, while the secondary source of energy becomes the diesel generator or national grid.

He said this is what Dyque Energy does for its clients.
“If you look around the ecosystem right now, it seems like the energy business is more like it. And then you find multiple other products from inverters, batteries and other solar products. Apart from the quality of our products, we don’t joke with our after-service. We have about 467 customer service centres across Nigeria. And our response time when there’s a problem is within 24 hours,” he said.

He added that all their products are Artificial Intelligence (AI) monitored.  “What sets us apart is the 10 years warranty for our products. And five years of the 10 years is a replacement warranty. That, I think, is a good way for us to pride ourselves to say we are the best in the industry,” he said.

Also, the Country Manager, Dyque Energy, Jackie Kangfei Lu, said that the company has more than 20 years experience in the Nigerian market as it belongs to the Transition Group. He added that his company’s energy offerings are an energy requirement that is a necessary solution for Nigeria locals.

Similarly, Technical Support Manager, Jeremiah Samdi, said Dyque Energy offers the market premium products whether for businesses or individuals.  “So when you have a Dyque solution, you can have peace of mind. We have two systems. We have the all-in-one, battery and inverter in one place and an option of a separate battery and inverter. So, depending on what you want, we design what will suit you and your location. All our inverters are IP66, so it can withstand pressure from wind, dust and the rain, which is why it can be stationed outside the apartment,” Samdi said.
