Mallam Shehu Dikko

A FORMER chairman of El-Kanemi Football Club of Maiduguri, Bashir Abiso, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment and determination to get Nigerian football on the right path.

Speaking when he paid a courtesy call on National Sports Commission (NSC) Chairman, Shehu Dikko, at his office recently, Abiso said that the reform will contribute in changing the outdated football administration, allowing stakeholders would be involved in the promotion and development of football game across the country.

He assured that the much-awaited normalisation committee, when constituted, would do everything possible to guarantee fair representation of all the interest groups in the leadership of the Nigerian football.

While appealing to all football stakeholders to continue to support and rally round the present administration’s efforts towards reforming the NFF, he called on the commission to also ensure the actualisation of the desired goal.
