Ingentia Energies Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to operational excellence, growth and regulatory compliance following a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) at its headquarters in Abuja.

The visit marked the company’s first official engagement with the Commission since the appointment of Victor Agbaroji, an engineer, as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer and provided an opportunity to present the company’s progress, growth ambitions, and long-term vision for sustainable value creation.

Leading the Ingentia Energies delegation, Agbaroji was received by the Commission Chief Executive, Mrs Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan, alongside members of the Commission’s leadership team. During the engagement, Agbaroji highlighted Ingentia Energies’ operational progress, revealing that the company has increased production to over 5000 bopd, representing significant growth since assuming operatorship of its asset. He noted that the achievement reflects the company’s commitment to operational excellence, responsible asset development, and value creation, while positioning it for its next phase of growth.

As part of discussions around the company’s future direction, Agbaroji outlined Ingentia Energies’ ambition to achieve 30,000 BPD by 2030, supported by continued investment in technical development and growth opportunities.
“We are positioned for growth and will embrace it fully, but we will do so responsibly and strategically, guided by the lessons and experience we have gained over the years,” Agbaroji said

He further emphasised the critical role of indigenous operators in increasing Nigeria’s hydrocarbon production and advocated for performance-driven growth opportunities within the sector.

According to him, companies that have successfully transformed assets into commercially viable operations should be recognised and encouraged through access to larger opportunities, as their track record demonstrates competence and operational capability. Agbaroji further solicited the Commission’s continued support in advancing Ingentia Energies’ “30 for 30” ambition, underscoring the importance of regulatory collaboration in achieving the company’s target.
