Speaking ahead of the maiden Regional Men’s Conference, Pastor Brown Oyitso, the Pastor in Charge of the Region, explained that the idea is to get the church involved in setting agenda for national development.
Among other distinguished speakers expected at the Conference are Kayode Pitan and Opeyemi Agbaje.
On what to expect at the event, the Regional Men’s Coordinator, Pastor Amos Emovon, who is also a Pastor in Charge of Province, noted that for an economy that has depended majorly on revenues from oil, there is no better time than now to discuss alternative investment opportunities in the country.
According to him, “Participants in this year’s edition of the conference will be exposed to opportunities in other sectors of the economy.
There will be breakout sessions on Agriculture, Real Estate, Energy, SME and Information Technology among others. The breakout sessions will be handled by Prof. Sonaiya, Tonye Cole and Jide Arowosafe.”
