Fans root for Nigeria at Super Eagles Dome Lagos
Thousands of ecstatic football fans in Lagos came out on Saturday night to cheer on the Nigerian national football team at Super Eagles Dome, where Star Lager, the official beer of the team showed enormous support.
The venue showcased high-tech, multi-media technology giving a 360-degree experience, where fans rallied in support of the Super Eagles as they faced Croatia in their first match in Russia.
Football supporters also experienced a beer village, where fans were treated to refreshing premium lager beer all through the night.
One of the main attractions of the Super Eagles Dome was the exquisite Star Lager tunnel, which featured a LED screen that takes Football fans down memory lane of historic Super Eagle moments.
There was also the Super Eagles Dome Studio, where some of the Ex Super Eagles players joined football pundit, Steve Dede, as they shared match analysis and the overview of the Super Eagles performance leading up to Russia.
The fans were excited from the first half, relaxing with fun games and quizzes as Mc LafUp took to the stage. Some fans also went forward to participate in the thrilling games, as delicious finger food and cold glasses of Star Lager, were served to everyone.
The experience reached fever-point, when ‘Oleku’ crooner, Ice Prince took to the stage to delight the audience. The excited football fans engaged him in an unending sing-along, as he delivered some of his most popular tunes. It was indeed a night of great entertainment that lifted the spirit of the passionate Fans of the Super Eagles.
Speaking at the venue, Abayomi Abidakun, Senior Brand Manager Star Lager Beer, Nigerian Breweries Plc, said, “The Super Eagles Dome is our way of supporting the team as they represent our nation in Russia and also creating an atmosphere for fans to cheer the team on with “One United” voice.
