The federal Ministry of Budget & National Planning yesterday made public details of the controversial 2016 budget to Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) by publishing figures allocated to each MDA on its website.

Even as the website of the ministry is up and functional, budget details of a number of MDAs were not included. These include the Federal Ministry of Environment, Solid Minerals, Women Affairs, Head of Service, Industry Trade and Investment, Health Ministry, Foreign Affairs Ministry. Others whose financial details were not listed include Works, Power and Housing, Communication and Technology

However, the Transportation Ministry under a code number 0229 of the Appropriation document had N216, 797, 393, 980 as total allocation for 2016 budget, whereas overheads and Capital expenditures had N1, 302,713,886 and N202, 000, 000, 000 billion respectively.

The National Assembly under code number 0112 of the appropriation budget had a total budget of N115, 000, 000, 000.
Details of Personnel and Recurrent were entered as same N115, 000,000,000. For the Federal Ministry of Education, the total allocated figure was N483, 376, 895. However, Personnel cost had N349, 839, 880, 172, even as Overheads had N19, 716, 496, 723 but Statutory Transfers had N71, 110, 000, 000.

Budget and National Planning ministry with code No. 0156 had a total allocation of N15, 999, 128, 516, Overheads N312, 193, 957 Capitals N6, 080, 000, 000.

Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment under code number 0227 had a total budget of N13, 397, 589, 915. However, the cost of Personnel, Overheads, Capitals were N6, 997, 734, 425, N819, 855, 490, and N5, 580, 000,000 respectively. The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development under code number 0513 had total budget of N75, 476, 387, 061. Personnel, Overheads, Capitals gulped N60, 046, 332, 399, N10, 770, 054, 662 and N4, 660, 000, 000 each.

Science and Technology Ministry with code number 0228 had N53, 743, 337, 717 entered for 2016 total budget. Personnel, Overheads, Capitals had, N22, 860, 343, 651, N2, 992, 994, 066 and N27, 890, 000, 000 each.
Information and Culture Ministry under code number 0123 had total budget of N54, 162, 778, 886 for 2016. Personnel, Overheads and Capitals had N34, 739, 454, 863, N4, 433, 324, 033 and N5, 990, 000, 000 respectively.

The Federal Ministry of Finance under code number 0220 had total budget allocation of N1, 486, 512, 101, 559. Overheads, Debt services and Capital cost include N3, 779, 105, 828, N1, 475, 320, 000, 000 and N818, 200, 000 respectively.
Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources under code number 0232 had N62, 115, 123, 639 appropriated for 2016. Personnel, Overheads, Capital cost had N53, 170, 602, 031, N1, 295, 916, 547 and N7, 648, 605, 061 respectively.

Office of National Security Adviser under code 0157 had total allocated sum of N90, 360, 068, 052 for 2016. Personnel, Overheads, Capital allocation include: N48, 342, 298, 158, N9, 387, 769, 894, and N32, 620, 000, 000 respectively.
