Chris Brown is taking the offensive in his ongoing rape allegation case as he has countersued his accuser with a defamation lawsuit.
We reported yesterday that a 24-year-old woman alleged that the singer raped her in his hotel room.

In her claims, she alleged that they met at a nightclub in France before he invited her to his room at Le Mandarin Oriental where she was raped. Following the suit, Brown was arrested but later released by the Parisian police.
However, in a countersuit, the “Undecided” singer has filed a defamation lawsuit against his accuser and his Parisian lawyer, Raphael Chiche said,
“Chris Brown is free. No lawsuits were filed against him. He vigorously challenges the charges against him. A complaint for slanderous denunciation will be filed tomorrow with the public prosecutor of Paris.”
It would be recalled that Brown was released from police custody yesterday, January 23 but prosecutors say the investigation is still ongoing. A source in the judicial system of Paris told TMZ the fact Brown was released with no conditions and free to leave the country is a sign authorities have problems with the case.
