The Gender and Child Care Advancement Initiative (G-CCAI), has conducted a door-to-door public sensitisation/enlightenment campaignfor electorate in Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State.
 
The campaign, held in conjunction with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), was aimed at eradicating voter apathy,
political violence, and vote buying.
 
Executive Director of G-CCAI, Phil Nneji advised people in the area, especially the youths, market women and all well meaning Nigerians to go out en masse and vote wisely.

She said: “It is your right to vote-in credible Nigerians who will deliver the goods and turn around the fortune of Nigeria. Let nothing
disenfranchise you.”
 
On his part, the INEC Area Officer, Mr. Ezekiel Ogunmosule said the body is doing all it can to ensure that the elections are credible.
