Homecoming Festival Partners NIKE, Announces Ticket Release For 2019
HOMECOMING is a platform for cultural exchange; sharing African creativity with the world. Launched in 2018, it was conceived as a way to connect international creatives with creative scenes in Africa, celebrating cultural heritage and creative excellence through the lens of music, fashion, art, and sport.
Underpinned by education and equality, HOMECOMING exists to galvanise a young African creative generation, introducing their collective vision to the world. HOMECOMING FESTIVAL is the spark that ignites this movement.
HOMECOMING 2018 saw performances by SKEPTA, WIZKID, J HUS, TIWA SAVAGE, and NOT3S back-toback on stage with emerging local artists SANTI, WAVY THE CREATOR, ODUNSI, NINIOLA and more, and launched original collaborations between brands including OFF-WHITE, VIVENDII, PATTA, MAINS and WAFFLESNCREAM.
In partnership with NIKE, HOMECOMING launched the HOMECOMING CUP, a 5-aside football tournament featuring teams of influencers and national heroes.
HOMECOMING 2019 will see the festival expand to an even larger audience through partnerships with global brands and a line up of international and local superstars.
