
He disclosed this yesterday while fielding questions from newsmen at the recruitment centre for over 1, 000 teachers at the Ministry of Basic Education in Brinin-Kebbi, adding that some of the applicants who came for interview possessed fake certificates.
He said some Yahoo Boys designed the certificates by comparing the original ones before designing the fake ones, adding: “We had some cases like that and after investigation they confessed to the crime.
“Some of the certificates were given to them by some admin staff of institutions, while some were designed by the Yahoo Boys,” he said.
Umar explained that the union had also commenced the screening primary and secondary schools in the state to fish out irregularities in the recruitment of teachers and other professionals.
