PresidentT Muhammadu Buhari and Senate President Ahmed Lawan have condoled with Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello over the death of his stepmother, Rekiya Momoh Bello.

The governor’s absence at the meeting of Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) with the president in Daura, Katsina State, yesterday got Buhari’s attention and he was informed of the incident.

Buhari, in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, wished peace for the departed soul and prayed God to grant the bereaved family the strength to bear the loss. Lawan also expressed heartfelt condolences to the Bello family and Kogi State.
