ASCSN appoints Apebo secretary general
The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN) has appointed Joshua Apebo as Secretary General of the association. According to a statement, his appointment takes effect Jan. 1, 2023.
He succeeds the incumbent Secretary General, Alade Lawal, who will exit service on December 31, 2022. Prior to his new position, Apebo was the association’s Deputy Secretary-General.
Apebo, who joined the union on January 5, 2001, has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Public Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and also Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Public Administration from the University of Maiduguri.
The statement said he attended series of trade union courses, seminars and workshops, which have impacted positively on his performance.
