Brandcom inducts Awosika, others into its hall of fame

Brand Communicator has inducted Jimi Awosika, Bola Akingbade and Wale Adenuga into the Brandcom Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame induction is part of the yearly Brandcom Awards organised by the brands and marketing publication, Brand Communicator.

The trio were inducted for their enormous contribution to the growth of advertising, brand marketing and media practice in Nigeria.

Awosika is the Managing Director of Troyka, with over four decades of experience in advertising and marketing communications.

His works have brought a deeper understanding of the complex world of marketing communications and have remained a role model of what growth, partnership and consistency should be in advertising.

The former Chief Marketing Officer of MTN, Bola Akingbade, is a marketing expert, corporate leader, and strategist.

Wale Adenuga, the founder and Chairman of the popular WAP TV, is an embodiment of intellectualism, dedication, and hard work.
Convener of Brandcom Awards and Publisher of Brand Communicator, Joshua Ajayi, emphasised that the three have contributed enormously to the growth of advertising, brand marketing and the media in Nigeria.

Many young and outstanding marketing communications professionals were recognised in the under 35 top marketing professionals category.
