
Governor Monday Okpebholo has appointed seasoned and respected lawyer, Augusta Ikpea-Enaholo, as the Director General of the Edo State Health Insurance Scheme.
Ikpea-Enaholo is a highly resourceful individual who worked at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) as Principal Legal Officer before her foray into business. She is an intellectual with academic exposures locally and internationally.
Augusta Ikpea-Enaholo’s appointment as the DG of the Edo State Health Insurance Scheme testifies of her exceptional accomplishments while she served at NIMASA and strides as a businesswoman after she briefly left public service.
The masters degree holder in Maritime Law founded the Royal Oaks Events Centre located in the Lekki axis of Lagos State in 2019, and has built it into one of the leading events centres in Nigeria within few years despite being known an expert in the maritime sector. For her First Degree , Augusta Ikpea-Enaholo’s possesses a Bachelor of Law Degree (LL.B.) from University of Kent, Canterbury, in the United Kingdom.
She is a holder of Master of Law, Maritime Studies, International Maritime Institute, Malta, from 2013 to 2014.
She also has a Master of Law, Maritime Law Enforcement, University of Bristol from 2005 to 2006.
Her First Degree, a Bachelor of Law, University of Kent at Canterbury, was gotten from 2002 to 2005.
For her A levels, Augusta Ikpea-Enaholo graduated from Padworth College for Girls, England from 2000 to 2002.
With such high level qualitative education under her belt, she possesses the requisite ingredients necessary for her to make her next point of service a distinguishing one. In fact, with her appointment, Governor Okpebolor has scores a major point, as Ikpea-Enaholo brings her full weight of experience, knowledge, expertise and links to bear positively on residents of Edo State.
