The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has called on the general public to disregard a misleading online publication alleging that the commission has commenced recruitment.

In a statement signed by the management of the commission, it said the publication was entirely false and that no such exercise is underway.

It said the publication stated that suitable candidates are to submit their applications through a recruitment portal on the website.The said all credible information about its activities is available on pencom website and its verified social media handles.

The commission said it has in the meantime reported the website to the relevant authorities for appropriate action.
