Conference to focus on leadership training

International leadership expert and New York Times bestselling author, John C. Maxwell, will be in Lagos for the 2018 edition of the Influence to Inspire conference.

The two-day programme will hold July 19 and 20, 2018, at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Dr. Maxwell, a recipient of the Mother Teresa Prize for Global Peace and Leadership from the Luminary Leadership Network, speaks each year to Fortune 500 companies, presidents of nations, and many of the world’s top business leaders.

As founder of The John Maxwell Company, The John Maxwell Team, EQUIP, and the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation, he has trained more than 6 million leaders. In 2015, he reached the milestone of having trained leaders from every country of the world.

The programme is a brainchild of Principal Host and co-founder of Techno VAS Consult Services Ltd, Jane Ivhurie. According to her, the event is expected to host 2,000-plus corporate attendees from all over the country. These include leaders, CEOs and individuals from all spheres of industries, who will be inspired to reach their highest leadership potentials.

She said, “We have intense passion to raise influencers, who will embody the true meaning of leadership, while inspiring others towards attaining same leadership horizon,”

We believe that in order to grow; we have to keep learning because there is no end to learning something new or developing our skills. As leader, to be successful, we need to carry people along and help them grow.

According to Ivhurie who listed some of the benefits of attendees to the programme to include Society recognition for CSR contribution, Team growth and empowerment, Improve client relationships, Premium brand and exposure of brand to the over two thousand attendee said, “no leader can credibly say ‘I’m a good leader, the people we’ve helped will be our judge so, are they inspired by the skill we’ve brought down to them, how much impact do we have their lives, there own organization and everything around them so, that is where to learn, influence and inspire come.

So, at Influence to inspire leadership empowerment initiative, we have intense passion to raise influencers who will embody the true meaning of leadership while inspiring others towards attaining same leadership horizon. On the long run, we are planning a basic smaller community leadership empowerment programme for the grassroots, targeting unemployed and underprivileged in the society
