Expert charts path to achieving success in 2020

Achieving success in the New Year requires an entire transformation of a person’s life across all facets, an expert has said.
The expert argued that although the change may be difficult, one should never give up, as there is always a bright light that awaits one at the end of the tunnel.
Speaking at the 5th edition of the CEO’s company mentorship class in Warri, Delta State, the Convener, Mama Helen Oritsejafor, who spoke on, “Success 101: How to be a success story in Year 2020,” noted those who have decided to give up are those that will remain on the floor.

Oritsejafor, who shared her experience with an audience of majorly business owners, said she has experienced her fair share of obstacles and challenges in life, but never gave up, and encouraged the participants to remain strong.
To achieve success in the New Year, she stressed the need to take stock of what happened in 2019, in order to propel one on what is to come in the New Year, by setting new goals and pursuing them vigorously.
Being disciplined and having a grace-filled life, she said without grace nothing is achievable, “it is the undeserved favour given from one to another, it begins and ends with God. Discipline is needed in being focused, in keeping to time, because when distractions come, you will be bound to face problems. But with a positive habit shown towards achieving your goals in the New Year, you will be unstoppable.
“Many times, people see obstacles as problems and they run from them. But seeing them as an opportunity, gives you a step into your future, making what looks insurmountable becomes an easy ride.
“It is through solving difficult problems, overcoming frustration and fear that brings about the development of patience and poise in such circumstances.
“Be consistent in your resolve, fall seven times but rise eight times.
“It is not about falling or failing but about getting up whenever you fall down. It is not the individual with the greatest starting position or motivation that usually wins but the one who can last the longest, because despite what happens, they are the ones who will reach their goals,” she said.
