Fabamwo joins IFTDO Board

FabamwoThe Director-General, Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) Magodo, Mrs. Olubunmi Fabamwo, has been elected into the Board of the International Federation of Training and Development Organisations (IFTDO), a global network of organisations focused on people and performance, for a 2-year term beginning January 1, 2016.

The election at the recent Annual Conference and Exhibition of the global body at the Sunway Hotels and Resort, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, according to a correspondence from its General Secretary, Dr. Uddesh Kohli, was in recognition of Fabamwo’s expertise and deep experience in learning and development and human resource management.

Reacting to the election, Fabamwo stated that it was a “call to global stewardship and impact” and reiterated her commitment to the ideals of organisational performance, people management and learning and development, which had been the hallmark of her leadership at the PSSDC. She appreciated the Board of the global organisation for the election and the Lagos State Government for providing the platform and executive support.
Fabamwo joins other Board members from the United States of America, United Kingdom, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Ireland and Nigeria to provide leadership for the 180-corporate member network across over 30 countries committed to the identification and transfer of knowledge, skills and technology.
