A firm, FirstFounders Inc. has announced the appointment of four persons into its Board. The company said the new members and chair would sharpen its focus on early stage startups and help it to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship.
A firm, FirstFounders Inc. has announced the appointment of four persons into its Board. The company said the new members and chair would sharpen its focus on early stage startups and help it to strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship.
The new board members are Joseph Mojume, UK Sale Director, Evercam -Construction Cameras as chairman.
Other members are: Anita Dele-Dickson, Wealth Collaboration Manager, Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited; Tinu Philips Odufuye, Head of Sales Marketing, Comercio Partners Limited; Luke Squire; Lead Product Manager, Solstice Power Technologies and Fransisco Santolo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Scalab.
Speaking on the appointments, FirstFounders’ founder and Chief Executive Officer, David Lanre-Messan, said, “We are excited to have the support of our new board members, who will bring diverse expertise and insight to our work. We have worked diligently to ensure FirstFounders’ board and leadership represent a variety of experts from four regions around the world.”
He added, “Our board’s vast experience will be invaluable to FirstFounders as we grow our business and pursue our mission to serve startups in Africa. Each brings relevant perspectives in areas essential to our business and governance. These appointments underscore our commitment to ongoing company structure and our focus on enhancing the significance of our purpose.”
Lanre-Messan said they are building a startup ecosystem where early stage founders with value-driven tech startup ideas will be continuously provided the platform to thrive and scale their project ideas with access to technical support, go-to-market strategies, product design, access to funding, mentorship and supporting community of experts and founders.
