Group opens hotel, targets 600 jobs

A consumer goods giant, NASCO Group, is establishing a luxury service apartment which may create about 600 new jobs.
The multi-million Naira 10 storey service apartment located in the Central Business District of Abuja is near completion and is scheduled for commissioning in 2017.
Spokesman of the proposed Fraser Suites, Haroun Audu, said in Abuja recently that 126 gold standard residences which combines comfort, style, technology and outstanding facilities will offer exclusive in-house services with the aim of attracting foreign exchange from foreigners and expatriates to the country.
Enumerating the enormous boost the project can offer Nigeria’s tourism sector, Audu commended the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammad Bello for the commencement of construction of crucial roads around the project.
“The choice of Julius Berger to handle the Leventis Close reconstruction project is signal to demonstrate the minister’s huge progressive and unwavering commitment to deliver only the best quality for this project.
“Business owners and operators are therefore, optimistic that all public utility supply mains of electricity, water supply, drainages and sewage disposal lines would be adequately, comprehensively and permanently sorted and completed as a once and for all undertaking in the course of this fresh rehabilitative construction work”, he said.
Audu noted that when completed, the Fraser Suites Abuja will be managed by world renowned brand name Fraser, saying, “it will herald a major boost to local economy and will serve as a bright spark catalyst.
