Groups partner to empower young entrepreneurs

Kidpreneur Africa is partnering with Wazobia African Market to empower young African entrepreneurs.

According to the partners, the initiative will culminate in a conference, where participants will showcase their business ideas and compete for prizes and mentorship opportunities.

Founder of Kidpreneur Africa, Juliet Vincent-Obi, said that Kidpreneurship is dedicated to empowering young people in Africa and the diaspora.

Vincent-Obi said that her organisation empowers young minds to think like entrepreneurs, take calculated risks and innovate solutions that are crucial to Africa’s growth.

According to her, the initiative aims to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and networks needed to launch and grow successful businesses.

“Together, we will provide young people with the tools and support they need to turn their ideas into reality,” she said.

The Chief Executive Officer of Wazobia African Market, Tunde Fasina, while reiterating the commitment to giving back to the community, emphasised that youth empowerment is a key part of their mission.

He said that with its partnership with Kidpreneur Africa, they are not only promoting entrepreneurship but also contributing to the development of their community.
