International Chamber of Commerce Nigeria

The Secretary-General of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Nigeria, Olubunmi Osuntuyi, has charged members of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN), to strictly enforce corporate governance in organisations across the country.

She said the sustainability of good corporate governance should be a national campaign, especially with its launch by the Federal Government recently.

Osuntuyi gave the advice when members of the Lagos State Chapter of ICSAN paid a courtesy visit to the Chamber recently.
Explaining how ICC has fared during the period, she urged ICSAN to explore its arbitration and mediation rules, even as she said that ICC has grown and impacted on businesses.

Earlier, the Chairman of ICSAN, Lagos State Chapter, Francis Olawale, who congratulated the global body of ICC on its centenary celebration and 20th anniversary of ICC Nigeria, also commended the team for promoting commerce, enterprise, prosperity, and global economic growth during the period.

Olawale sought the co-operation of the chamber for effective collaboration in areas of sensitisation through trainings, workshops and seminars among others for business sustainability through proper corporate governance.
