ICSAN elects Ememobong as Rivers State chairman

Ememobong, who holds LLM in International Trade and Maritime Law, was elected alongside other members during the council’s fourth yearly general meeting held in Uyo, recently.

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN) has elected Chinonyerem Ememobong as new chairman to pilot the affairs of its Akwa Ibom State chapter.

Ememobong, who holds LLM in International Trade and Maritime Law, was elected alongside other members during the council’s fourth yearly general meeting held in Uyo, recently.

Others, who were elected to serve on the new council, include Nkiru Ntong, vice chairman; Iniobong Odejimi, general secretary; Maria Akpan, treasurer and Inemeawaji Ettang, assistant secretary, among others.

They will be in the office for two years.

Reacting to her election as chairman, Ememobong, who commended members for entrusting her with the position, pledged to uphold the integrity of the institute.

Ememobong also indicated her willingness to provide an inclusive leadership that will adequately cater to the needs of members.

The outgoing chairman, Ime Asibong, admonished the new executive officers to live above board, display high level of integrity and professionalism, for which the institute is known in the conduct of her affairs.
