Owolabi becomes JCI president
Laolu Owolabi has been elected as President of Junior Chambers International (JCI) Lagos Chapter.
JCI elected Owolabi as the President to steer the organisation in 2017.
JCI is made up of young, active professionals who leverage on developmental opportunities to create positive change and impact their various communities.
The president-elect affirmed his commitment to the ideals of JCI and committed himself to coordinate and execute the signature and sustainable projects of the chapter which ranges from health, quality education, citizen advocacy, entrepreneurial training, and safety awareness among others.
JCI Lagos City has committed to realisation of the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations in November , 2015 and will find targeted solutions in its immediate community towards attainment.
