The Board of TBWA\CONCEPT has announced the appointment of Ranti Atunwa, and Osibo Imhoitsike, as executive directors effective January 1, 2019.

According to its Chairman, ‘Lere Awokoya, “we have a strong belief in the capacity of Osibo and Ranti to continue to grow and sustain the company’s long term objectives. This appointment is a clear recognition of their contribution over the years as well as their commitment to the future.”

The Managing Director/CEO, Kelechi Nwosu, reaffirmed the group’s commitment to sustainable growth.

He said: “We are pleased to have Ranti and Osibo join the board. We believe that they will be a key part of our plans to optimise and diversify our business offerings.”

Atunwa joined the firm in 2007, as Deputy Creative Director before rising to become Creative Director in 2013. The multiple award-winning professional assisted the agency in clinching several awards at the AAAN-organised LAIF Awards as well as others in the TBWA\Middle East and Africa Network Awards (Africannes) in the last five years.

Imhoitsike, on his part, was the firm’s Group Head, Business Development, between 2008 and 2011, before returning in February 2013, as Business Director, overseeing Account Management and Strategy.

During the period, he had worked in driving business expansion and attracting fresh wins in telecoms, development sector, FMCG, breweries among others.

This included serving as West Africa Lead for the successful TBWA\Africa MTN Pitch in 2017.

With their appointments, the duo have joined the board of TBWA\CONCEPT UNIT, founded in 1984 by ‘Lere Awokoya and Kayode Idowu as Concept Unit.

Following an affiliation with the TBWA\Worldwide Network in 2000, it became TBWA\CONCEPT.
