UAC chief canvasses entrepreneurship for pupils

Equipping children with entrepreneurial skills could be all they need to stay afloat and make life-changing decisions during periods of critical economic conditions, so says Marketing Manager, UAC Restaurants Nigeria, Mrs. Ethel Mba.

Mba spoke when pupils of Salvation International School, Lagos State, took a tour of UAC Restaurants, a state-of–the-art pie production plant, where pastries sold at Mr. Bigg’s are produced.

She, has, therefore advised parents not to spare any expenses in exposing their wards to as many disciplines as possible, a development she stressed would aid them in making choices during dire economic constraints.

Mba spoke when pupils of Salvation International School, Lagos State, took a tour of UAC Restaurants, a state-of–the-art pie production plant, where pastries sold at Mr. Bigg’s are produced.

Among other things, the excursion was aimed at inspiring the pupils to dream and work towards becoming renowned entrepreneurs in future.While encouraging the pupils to take more than a passing interest in acquiring entrepreneurial skills at their tender ages, she explained that UAC Restaurants is positioned not only as manufacturer of quality products, but also an extension of the classroom for pupils and students, as part of the firm’s corporate business social responsibility initiative.

She specifically stated that the outfit was not weary of exposing young people to the high standards of food manufacturing ethics and processes obtained in its outlets.

Mba informed the pupils that the firm remains unwavering in its determination to serve the nation with highly nutritious, hygienic and safe products as a way of fostering the company’s rich culture of innovation spanning many years, and in its bid to remain a dominant player in the food industry.The pupils were received at firm by the HR/Admin Manager, Peter Ezea and the HR/IT Manger, Mr Bola Olatinwo.
