United Capital’s Ashade receives top CEO award

The Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of United Capital Group, Peter Ashade has been honoured as one of Nigeria’s top CEOs. The award, which was bestowed on him at the BusinessDay Top CEOs Awards, recognises exemplary leadership in business, and celebrates CEOs who have shown remarkable financial resilience and operational excellence while fostering innovation and a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility.
  
A statement by the firm said Ashade had driven hyper-growth and inspired organisational change since becoming Group CEO in 2018. Under his leadership, it said United Capital’s revenue has surged by over 400 per cent, profitability has grown by 180 per cent, and shareholders’ fund has increased by 473 per cent.
  
It stated that the Group’s funds under management soared by 1,353 per cent, from N75.68 billion in 2018 to N1.10 trillion by December 2023.
