Chairman of Eunisell Interlinked Plc, Chika Ikenga, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Business School.

The appointment underscores Ikenga’s commitment to national development and his sustained contributions to economic growth, education, and strengthening institutions in Nigeria.

The appointment was announced in a letter signed by the Registrar and Secretary to the Council, Dr Nkeiruka Mbanasor, in recognition of Ikenga’s public service roles and having positively influenced institutional strengthening and national development.

In his new role, Ikenga joins other board members in providing strategic guidance to support the growth and global positioning of the university’s business school. He will contribute to the development, review and implementation of high-quality academic programmes, advise on partnerships and industry collaborations, promote best practices in governance and ethical leadership, and support the school’s mandate of “Empowering Minds, Shaping Tomorrow’s Leaders.”

Speaking on his appointment, Ikenga emphasised the need for improved advanced learning in the nation’s academic institutions.

The letter said Ikenga’s leadership and unwavering dedication to excellence and his experience across industry, governance and enterprise development will add significant value to the Business School’s strategic direction and its mission to serve Nigeria and the wider African continent.
