UNN to honour Bukar Usman

University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State, will honour foremost folklorist and author, Dr. Bukar Usman, founder of Dr. Bukar Usman Foundation, with an award for ethical and value-oriented leadership. The event will take place during the university’s Ethics, Governance and Higher Education Conference that starts today, November 23 through 26, 2016.

A statement from the Director, Directorate of Strategic Contacts, Ethics and Publications, Office of the Vice Chancellor/Chairman Inter-University Committee/LOC EGHE 2016, Dr. Ani Casimir Kingston Chukwunoyelum, said, “On behalf of the Vice Chancellor and the University of Nigeria I wish to bring to your attention good tidings of the decision made by the Inter-University Committee of the 2016 Conference on ethics, governance and higher education that you have been nominated for an award for ethical and value-oriented leadership. The Vice Chancellor has approved this recommendation.

“This award repositions you as a sustainable partner of the university in its ethical transformation project, which will lead to a better Nigerian society.
