Maruf Aminu founded Choroids Limited in 2026, a startup registered in the United States and Nigeria. Choroids has developed eSelfcare, the software application for derisked selfcare with plants. Dr. Maruf holds a PhD in microgrids, an aspect of power systems engineering. He also received six months of training on Medicinal Plants from Cornell University, USA.
