The coverage of the security beat has taken me to almost all states in Northern Nigeria facing security challenges, except Kebbi State. In the southern part of the country, I have covered oil theft incidents in Rivers and Bayelsa states. During this period, I covered the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Security, the Federal Road Safety Corps, and the Military. ‎ I'm well-trained in Security Beat. However, covering the counterinsurgency operations in the North East has been the most challenging. Reading, listening to the news and music, and jogging are my hobbies.
