Popular social media activist VeryDarkMan has called for the safety of Adeniyi Adeyemi, the embattled convener of the alleged Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), insisting that he must not “die mysteriously” amid the ongoing controversy involving the Presidency.

In a video shared on his social media platforms, VeryDarkMan expressed concern over the allegations and legal proceedings surrounding Adeyemi, urging security agencies to ensure his safety while investigations continue. Airing his own opinion, -VeryDarkMan said, “My first interest in this case is that I don’t want to hear that Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi died mysteriously.

“It is the duty of our security operatives to protect him because Nigerians are interested in getting to the root of these allegations.”

The activist argued that Nigerians deserve to hear Adeyemi’s full account of the events, stating that the controversy has become a matter of significant public interest. He maintained that due process should be allowed to take its course and warned against any development that could prevent the suspect from defending himself in court.

Adeyemi is currently facing an eight-count charge filed by the Nigeria Police over allegations including forgery, impersonation and related offences linked to the operations of the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, which the Federal Government has described as a non-existent body.

The case has continued to attract widespread public attention, with growing calls from various quarters for a transparent investigation and for the judicial process to proceed without interference.
