‎Former Minister of Transportation, His Excellency Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, Chairman of Emalsson Enterprises Limited, VME Emmanuel Evue, and Mrs. Rollence McCoy, President of WimAfrica, have been unveiled as guest presenters at the 2025 Almond Insurance Industry Awards scheduled to hold in Lagos.

Organised by Almond Productions Limited, the annual awards night has become the most anticipated social event in Nigeria’s insurance calendar, bringing together industry stakeholders, policymakers, corporate clients, paramilitary officers, entertainers and members of the public for an evening of celebration and networking.

In a statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Faith Kesiena Ughwode, the guest presenters were described as distinguished individuals carefully selected from critical sectors of the economy to help promote broader understanding and appreciation of insurance as a vital pillar of national development.

According to Ughwode, the awards serve as a platform to highlight excellence, innovation and the role of insurance in sustaining economic growth. She added that no economy can function effectively without the stabilising mechanism that insurance provides.

Since its inception in 2018, the Almond Insurance Industry Awards have honoured changemakers and innovators who continue to redefine the nation’s insurance landscape. This year’s edition will hold on Friday, November 7, at The Stable Event Centre, Bode Thomas, Surulere, Lagos, with the red carpet at four o’clock in the evening and the main ceremony commencing by seven.

Categories to be recognised include outstanding achievements by insurance companies, brokers and individuals across life, general, micro and takaful insurance, as well as special recognition awards within and beyond the industry.
‎Guests will also enjoy performances by Creative Toby, Taichi, Mc Obinna, Slimcase and other entertainers, while Nollywood legend Segun Arinze will bring his signature charisma as host of the evening.

The strictly black-tie event is open only by ticket admission and promises an elegant night of glamour, entertainment and celebration of excellence within the insurance sector.
